Falls Apart

I bought this earlier this year. The plastic end of one of the medium size rollers fell off. Can no longer use that roller without burning my fingers on it. The plastic ends of two other medium size rollers and two of the large rollers are loose. I could understand this happening after years of daily use, but after a few months? Unacceptable.

Quick Heat-Up but Mixed Results on Fine & Thick H

I was excited to try the Remington Gloss Hair Setter, especially since I enjoy trying different heat styling tools at home. I have very long, fine hair, and one thing I immediately liked was how quickly the rollers heated up once plugged in. It definitely didn’t take long to get started. However, I did experience some frustration while using it. A few of the rollers would get stuck when trying to remove them from the base or place them back in, which made the process feel less smooth than expected. After rolling my hair and leaving them in for about 30 minutes, I noticed that removing the rollers pulled at my hair a bit, especially with my finer texture. Unfortunately, the curls were towards my ends and didnt last very long. I decided to also test them on my daughter’s hair, which is shorter and thicker texture than mine. The rollers did create more of a visible curl on her hair, but once her hair looked somewhat frizzy rather than smooth and polished. Overall, I like the idea of this set and appreciate the fast heating feature, but the rollers themselves could be smoother to remove and the final results were a bit inconsistent for us.

Be careful because the hot rollers can get quite hot when trying to wrap hair on them. They are easier to use but still takes some learning curves to adapt. Overall great tool for quick volume and blow out style.

Beautiful set

I was so impressed with this curler set as soon as I opened it! Sadly, that’s as far as I have gotten. It seems well made, good materials, it’s compact and easy to move. Overall, I just need to use it to know for sure.

Works great, just be careful touching the hot roll

These hot rollers work really well. I was able to get Hollywood style waves with this set and the curls lasted until the next day. I also liked that I didn't have to leave the rollers in for too long. I took a star off because I burned my fingers a few times. I think having a glove to use with this would help avoid touching the hot part of the rollers.

Must have for bouncy curls!

Great I loved it so much, it was effective at giving me big bouncy curls. I love that I can set my hair in the rollers and continue doing my make up, sometimes I even wear them on my drive to work and take them out when I get there.
