good straightening brush!

I have 4B/C type hair, dense but finer strand. My hair can be resistant to straightening brushes, what can I say she loves a curl! this brush was nice, it held my hair straight and easy to use m. It felt nice in my hand, heated up well, and feels a good option if you don’t want to use a traditional flat iron or straightening comb. You won’t get a super silk press but you will get it straight with some peel of texture. Maintenance is simple and easy. The heat really holds dye to ceramic plating and it’s even as well.

Not ideal

Not a great product, I have thick straight hair and this did not do much for me. My hair got caught in the paddle brush and I ended up burning my hand. It took a long time to heat up and didn’t get too high enough heat to actually straighten or de-frizz my hair.

Practice needed, but a solid tool!

On first attempt I disliked this product, however, after testing it out throughout the last month I am enjoying it more than expected. For those who have hair that easily tangles, this is a blessing. While it’s not perfect and needs some patience and practice, I found this to be my favorite straighter.

Pretty good

I received the wrong item and I have extremely curly hair, but I wanted to give it a go anyway and I used it to just fluff up my curls. I think it works really well and probably would work even better for people with long straight or curly hair as you can see from the picture my hair is quite short, but the curl was nice. How would it work on straight hair not too short my hair is quite curly.

Easy and useful

Let start with it easy to use and doesn’t make noise so that a plus, down size I do need to blow dry my hair straight so I can use it good on my hair because if not it does tug on my hair but it work good when your hair already straight and you want to get it flatter and get kink out, straighten your ends out. The bristles do tug on your hair if your hair has texture and tangle. But I haven’t travel with it so I don’t know how portable it is but it is a little big so it will take some space.

Solid choice if you need a straightening brush

The Remington Straightening Brush heats up very quickly maybe 30 seconds or so which is so convenient. It doesn’t really replace an actual brush and I found it a bit more cumbersome to use than the average straightener. It definitely made my hair straighter and I felt like it was a bit shiner as well. I’d definitely use with a heat protectant.

Works great, but prep accordingly!!

I have long hair down to my lower back that is thick and wavy. Normally straightening my hair takes a while. I would say this is comparable to my all time favorite, the original CHI flat iron. It took a few more passes but I know that I went a bit faster over each strand. Took about the same time though. I was able to take bigger sections though. Easy to use, relatively fast heating. The first photo is before and then second is the next day after sleeping on it. HOWEVER, PREP ACCORDINGLY. I state this because you 1. Need your hair detangled first. It will snag and rip out some hair otherwise. I noticed a few strands but nothing awful. It did snag a few times with tangles but my hair is very tangled. 2. You need to hold your hair firmly out. It needs some tension against the brush to smooth it out. 3. Roots can be a little tricky so be careful. Overall, I think it is very comparable to a standard flat iron but was easy to use. I noticed it was a bit harder to get my ends super flat but nothing awful. It might be just a little less pin straight but not by much. Roots were a touch more difficult but attainable. I am pleasantly surprised! Not sure if it made my hair shiner but I alwyas use heat protectant spray and oils so that would be hard to tell.

Easy

This brush won’t give you straight salon hair, but it absolutely smooths and softens frizz. On my daughters wavy hair it made a big difference in about 10 minutes. I like that it doesn’t yank or snag and actually feels like brushing rather than clamping hair between two hot plates. Her hair looked more “polished blowout” instead of “flat-ironed” which I actually prefer for everyday.

Great!

This thing is great! I HATE how much my Bowman straightener can pull on my thick hair and this doesn't do that! I was also able to get it done in half the time! It heats up very quickly! This brush is so nice because it's got little bristles to make sure the heating element doesn't touch your hands accidently!

Customers overwhelmingly praise the straightening brush for fast heating—often under 30 seconds—and user-friendly design that combines straightening and detangling. Most report softer, smoother, frizz-free hair with natural shine, particularly those with thick, wavy, or curly hair who find it a game changer. The three heat settings allow customization for different textures. However, some users with fine or thin hair find it less effective, and several report bristles tugging or snagging, especially around roots. A few note it requires multiple passes or follow-up with traditional tools for fully sleek results. Overall, most customers consider it a worthwhile time-saving tool despite limitations based on hair type.

  • Works great, but prep accordingly!! (Image 20762296)I have long hair down to my lower back that is thick and wavy. Normally straightening my hair takes a while. I would say this is comparable to my all time favorite, the original CHI flat iron. It took a few more passes but I know that I went a bit faster over each strand. Took about the same time though.
